Synopsis

Luca Cupiello is a great lover of his crib; it is almost Christmas Eve when the comedy begins and shows the awakening of the protagonist, whose first thought is to dedicate himself to completing the construction of the crib during the morning. A process interrupted by Luca’s daughter, Ninuccia, who has again quarreled with her husband Nicola Percuoco. This time, however, the girl seems determined: she wants to leave her spouse with a letter to finally unite with her lover Vittorio Elia. Thanks to the intercession of their mother, the two make peace, but Nicola nevertheless receives the offending letter, by the hand of Luca, who, unaware of the contents, delivers it to him. Misunderstandings and family tragedies will come to light at the Christmas Eve dinner, when Luca, shaken by the events, feels bad …
